Literature Circles – Two Column Log: Questioning Session #2
After reading your section for #2 (chapters 3 – 5), record any questions you had as you
read. Please remember, this Two-Column Log is just focusing on the QUESTIONING
strategy. In the first column “My Questions”, pose your “thick” question. In the second
column “What the Book Says”, remember to consider which part of the story made you ask
the question and whether you can find, or infer, an answer? If you can find the answer in
ch 3 to 5, do not use it. Use the Two-Column Log for recording QUESTIONS only. This is
to show your understanding of the QUESTIONING strategy being introduced this week.
