of experience, we have delivered numerous combined CAS system, Inbuilding Experience – repeaters, 2-way Radios /
FM & TV Broadcast, PTP and Wireless@ SG, Small Cell deployment, eLTE, 3G/4G base-station, WIFI, and currently,
surging towards 5G deployment and etc.
Our engineering track records include numerous island-wide term contracts with local mobile operators on both full
turnkey and semi-turnkey basis. For such projects, we consistently deployed cellular site preparation works, systems
turn-on and commissioning, reaching few hundred sites at its peak. We have always met and exceeded our customer’s
demand for quick services and timely delivery of works. We have also undertaken numerous major projects for:
1. SBST and SMRT, including SMRT Train Active Route Map Information Systems (STARIS), FM and TV Signal
Enhancement at numerous stations, Train Diagnostic Solutions, HotBox / WILD, most relevant ones such as,
brownfield SDH system upgrade for North South East West line.
2. Tetra system for Mass Transit, HV utilities tunnel radio system, radio system for defense tunnel construction,
numerous GSM/WCDMA/LTE cellular systems.
3. Nation-wide references are upgrading of SMRT Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) system in North South
East West line, replacement and upgrade of optical transmission for North East Line, Sengkang LRT and Punggol
LRT for SBST with Huawei.

3.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The purpose of the invitation to quote (ITQ) is to invite vendors to quote for (1) the provision of technical solution, design,
construction, transportation, installation, system testing, commissioning and all necessary process required for the completion
of the entire work (2) Option purchase of 3-year non-comprehensive maintenance of existing CCTV system and additional system
so acquired under this ITQ.
ROOTS is proposing to use Dahua cameras and NVRs for this project. The reason is that the school is currently using
Dahua products and software, therefore providing Dahua’s products will allow ease of integration with the current
system as well as for the school to continue using the current software to access the videos, therefore do not have to
learn a new software interface. Furthermore, if the school is using Dahua’s SmartPSS, there is no extra license
required for the additional CCTVs.
The proposed solutions consist of the following key features:
3.1 Firm Purchase - To supply and install a network solution with 53 indoor and outdoor Dahua 2M IP DOME
CCTV and 7 indoor Dahua 4M IP DOME CCTV with audio recording features together with Dahua switches
and NVRs with audio recording capability. Training and user manuals/course materials will be provided
within 7 days after commissioning of the system.
3.2 Optional items for enhancement of audio recording quality.
3.3 Optional Purchase - 3 years of helpdesk and maintenance services.
A Compliance Table of the job scopes is also attached together with the quotation.
ROOTS is pleased to quote a price of SGD24,500.00 with 1 year DLP and a price of SGD11,000.00 for the 3 years noncomprehensive maintenance contract with a 1-to-1 replacement of CCTV if faulty within the maintenance period.

4.
OVERVIEW OF THE PROPOSED SOLUTION DESIGN
ROOTS team understand the requirement and proposed as below to meet the requirements of this project.
4.1 Firm Purchase - To supply and install a network solution with 53 indoor and outdoor Dahua 2M IP DOME CCTV
and 7 indoor Dahua 2M IP DOME CCTV with audio recording features together with Dahua switches and NVRs with
audio recording capability. Training and user manuals/course materials will be provided within 7 days after
commissioning of the system.

CAT6 UTP cables will be used together with 4 x 16 ports switches and 2 x 32 CH NVRs.

4.3 Optional Purchase - 3 years of helpdesk and maintenance services
3 Years of non-comprehensive maintenance services with warranty and helpdesk services for the existing 103 x
cameras, 4 x NVR and switches as well as the new 60 x cameras, 2 x NVR and switches.
The school will ensure that the existing products are in working order and ROOTS will check though before the start
of this maintenance service.
Quarterly checks and cleaning will be provided as shown in the compliance table.
ROOTS will provide both pro service and post support during the school hours (8x5) support as required by the
school. ROOTS will also support 24x7 unlimited email and phone call support.
Warranty and maintenance agreement will include but not limited to the following:

Repairs and replacement of faulty components (1-for-1 replacement for the CCTV).
Attendance to breakdown, power failure and other contingencies when the system is not fully functioning.
This includes inspections and investigation on causes of system mal-function and prompt rectification.

COMPLIANCE TO GENERAL AND TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
The proposed hardware and software solution will be able to support the following:
•
Product Support will be made available in the form of remote support in local business
hours. Remote support will be via either remote access (if available) or through phone
guided by qualified technical consultant. On site product support will be on-demand when
issues cannot be resolved remotely.
•
ROOTS shall carry out all submissions necessary for the installation of the System and
provide all endorsement and certification by qualified persons, where necessary to comply
with North Vista Primary School and/ or relevant Authorities' requirements, Singapore
Standards and Codes of Practice.
7.
DELIVERY PERIOD
ROOTS will do our best effort to complete the project within 4 to 6 weeks from date of award.
Any request for extension due to unforeseen circumstances will be done within this period with the approval from
the school.
