An “Array”zing Project
We are learning about arrays in math class and we LOVE to do
projects to show our learning!
When you think of an array in 2nd grade, think
REPEATED ADDITION.
Here’s an example:
array
number sentence
5+5+5=15
Here are some project ideas. Pick 1 or 2 or come up with your
own activity to show your understanding of arrays. The pages
you may need are included with this packet. You can either
print them or make them yourself.
1.
Find examples of arrays in real life and either show
them in our class Zoom or take pictures and send them
to your teacher. You can write about them on the page
called Project 1.
2.
Make your own Array Concentration game! The
blank cards you need are on Project 2.
3+3+3+3=12
3.
Create your own arrays and matching number
sentences. The page you need is Project 3.
4.
Make a sting ar”ray” and write the array and
number model on the animal.
4+4=8
5.
Design your own “array”nbows!
The page is here in the pack!
