ALLERGY ALERT. May cause an allergic reaction if latex is
present in the ball.
styrofoam ball
Potential hazards
Flammable. May release toxic fumes if burnt. Organic
solvents may dissolve the styrofoam.
Standard handling procedures
Do not heat with Bunsen burner. Avoid contact with
organic solvents.

Coin surface may be contaminated by previous users;
wash hands carefully before handling food.

Store securely due to possibility of theft.

May cause eye injury. Straw forced up nose may cause

laptops/computers/smart phones.

Long rulers can be used as swords. Wooden and plastic

Risks will therefore be managed by routine procedures in the classroom.
