If item 1, Hot Water Cylinder (HWC) in the checklist forms part of a centralised boiler system as opposed to a HWC, please list this in your plumber’s comments below and the Hot Water Cylinder checkbox is to be left unticked. If item 5 (Solar Heated water installation) in the checklist is ticked as “No”, then the checkbox in item 6 is to be left unticked. If item 9 and 11 is not in place, the City will engage with the Body Corporate or Home Owner’s Association. This will not affect the completion of this COC. The water meter records the flow when water is drawn, and does not register when consumption stops. The private isolating valve as per subsection 23(2) (a) or (b) of the Water By-Law 2010 is in place and functioning. Note: In addition, a non-return valve as per subsection 52 (1)(h) of the Water By-law 2010 - of similar size as the service pipe needs to be installed immediately downstream of the private isolating valve (regardless of whether it being a stopcock or ball-valve).
