Elden Ring: How To Beat Rennala, Queen Of The Full Moon Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, is a Legacy Dungeon Demigod in Elden Ring that the Tarnished must face at the end of the Academy of Raya Lucaria. While she might not be as challenging as General Radahn, the Queen will woefully punish those who confront her without first understanding her boss mechanics. Like Stormveil's Godrick the Grafted boss, Rennala's boss fight has two phases, with the second being naturally more difficult than the first. Despite this, even the first stage can be problematic for anyone who jumps into the fray without knowing what they should do. At the start of Rennala's boss fight in Elden Ring, the Queen will be hovering in the air, protected with a radiant yellow barrier. Scattered about the arena will be multiple Academy pupils, grimly crawling across the ground and executing various attacks at the player. These attacks can range from spewing a cone of flames to flinging books across the room. While they appear no more than minion nuisances in the boss battle, these students are the key to breaking Rennala's protective shield. As soon as the fight begins, Tarnished should immediately begin scouring the room for students glowing with shimmering golden light. Players do not need to slay these particular mobs in Elden Ring but only strike them once to remove their barrier. Additionally, Tarnished can discover them quickly by their ominous singing. After finding three of these enemies and removing their glow, the shield around Rennala will burst, causing her to fall to the floor. Tarnished can approach her and strike her until she reaches half HP, after which she will let out an explosive AoE effect and retreat to the canopy above. Tarnished must execute the strategy of dealing with the students and attacking Rennala twice to progress to the second phase of the boss fight. Players should keep in mind that when Rennala restores her yellow barrier, she will also launch debris at the player that can potentially deal one-shot-kill damage. Furthermore, if the player fails to decrease the Queen's HP after the second time she drops to the floor, she will begin to cast spells from above, making the fight much more complicated. Therefore, players will want to complete Stage One of the Queen of the Full Moon boss fight as quickly as possible. Stage 2 of Rennala's battle begins with the boss casting Comet Azur at the player from afar. This arcane beam will one-shot Tarnished, so players will need to be ready to dodge upon entering the next arena. A good strategy would be to run toward the boss as soon as she begins her cast. Because she is so tall, her beam will go over the player if they are too close. From here, Rennala will begin fire homing projectiles and conjure a variety of Spirits, from Wolves to Dragons. Tarnished are advised to summon their Lone Wolves to stagger the Queen from different angles continuously, as she cannot easily use Summons when being interrupted. Rennala is resistant to magic, which means Glintstone Sorcery is ineffective against her. As a result, mage Tarnished could have a hard time with this boss. Thankfully, Spells such as Rock Sling deal Physical Damage, so it is still highly recommended they use these kinds of Sorceries. Alternatively, melee fighters should use Bleeding attacks on the Queen, as she possesses a weakness to Hemorrhage. The Bloody Slash Ashes of War is an excellent choice for such an attack. To beat Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon, in Elden Ring, players should focus on removing her yellow barrier in the first stage as quickly as possible. In Phase Two, they should keep an eye on which Spell she is casting while staggering her to keep her Elden Ring Summons at bay. Finally, players should use Physical and Bleeding Damage to take advantage of her weaknesses and defeat her. As the Elden Ring Tarnished explores the vast region of Liurnia of the Lakes, they will be able to discover a total of five Golden Seeds hidden across the map. Golden Seeds are important collectibles in Elden Ring that will increase players' Sacred Flask charges. These Sacred Flask charges can increase the Tarnished's health and FP during particularly difficult battles. The first seed can be found within the wetland ruins that lead to the Raya Lucaria Academy. Starting from the Academy Gate Town Site of Grace, adventurers should head northwest toward the academy in Elden Ring. After the "Academy Gate Town" title message appears, players should look for the seed's golden tree sitting in an open area surrounded by rubble.
