BIBLE STUDY OUTLINE FOR WEEK 3 , FEBRUARY 2022 The month of February is our month of order as directed by the Spirit of God through our man of God, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, DSc. DD! See the February Communion Service highlights on www.helloloveworld.tv and www.loveworldnews.com For our Bible Study this third week of February, we will be discussing the topic: ORDER. This outline has been created to guide your coordination and handling of the Bible Study classes for week 3. In preparing for the Bible Study Class, it’s vital that you (Cell Leaders and Bible Study Class Teachers) study this outline prior to the cell meeting date to acquaint yourself with the topic and content. During the meeting, all the Scriptures given in the outline are to be read out. It’s important that the class participants look into their Bibles while the Scriptures are read for proper assimilation. You may also assign some of the participants to read some of the Scriptures during the study. To effectively ensure that the participants have their Bibles, kindly inform them before the meeting date to all come along with their Bibles. As a strategic and proactive Bible Study Class Teacher, ensure you make provision for first timers that will be in attendance, who may not have their Bibles with them, or you may direct them to download the Rhapsody of Realities Study Bible app from the Loveworld App Store at www.lwappstore.com. In addition, don’t rush through the subject as you teach; remember that our intention is to have every member of the class understand the subject matter and what the Bible teaches on it. At different points of the class, request feedback from the participants to ensure they are following and have good understanding of the subject being taught. INSTRUCTIONS OF THE SPIRIT FOR THE MONTH OF ORDER The Bible study class teacher should carefully read this out to the class participants; these words given by our man of God at the February Communion Service: This month is a month of order. God wants you to bring order into your life. Rearrange your priorities and put God first because He is putting you first. Bring order into your life, home, work and finances. The Lord will guide you with His wisdom. In the same way, put the right things in the right places. If you use this month to set things that are wanting in order, the rest of the year will fall into place as God has chosen for you. It is the month of order. The rest of the month is given to you to bring order into your life through the power of the Holy Spirit. In the Bible, we learn that whenever God wants to promote His people and do big, milestone and remarkable things in their lives, the first thing He does is to bring them into order. Order comes first; and then you will see things that are bigger than your dreams, you will find yourself in places you never dreamt to be! SETTING THINGS IN ORDER Titus 1:1“To Titus, mine own son after the common faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour. For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:” God is a God of order, and we can look through the scriptures to see how important order is before the Lord. He doesn’t tolerate disorderliness. When you study the Scriptures, you will be amazed at the abundance of information given to us about how God responds to disorder; He doesn’t like it. When you want to see the Grace of God producing results in your life, order must be an important factor to you. 1. Put God first: Putting God first means putting His Word first. What does God say? What does He think? What does He want? When you put these things first in your life, that is order. Ephesians 5:1( AMPC)-Therefore become imitators of God [copy Him and follow His example], as well-beloved children [imitate their father]; Proverbs 4:20- 21: My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 2. Fellowshipping with the Lord in prayer and true worship: Our fellowship with the Lord is not something we do religiously because we are Christians, it is a fellowship born out of a revelation of who He is, which stems from a relationship. Allot times for personal prayer and worship. In the Your loveworld sessions, our Man of God has been guiding us on what to focus on in times of prayer. Also, recently, our man of God began guiding us on how to worship God right, focusing our attention on Him and the contents of our worship and removing our attention from fleshly dancing and motivations. Practise this often and you will see the Glory of God in your life in a greater measure. John 4:23- But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 3. Organize your times of personal study of God’s Word- Your life originates from God’s Word; you are an offspring of the Word, so you need the Word of God to sustain you. Stay in the Word constantly; allot times for your personal study. We have been blessed in our Ministry with the Rhapsody of Realities daily devotional that has transformed countless lives over the past two decades and still counting. It contains God’s rhema Word for you daily. Give it attention and diligently follow through on the one-year or two-year Bible study plan. A vast array of messages by our Man of God are available on the Pastor Chris digital Library and also in audio-visuals formats. Make these your daily companion, giving them adequate attention. Colossians3:16 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 4. Obey spiritual instructions. In the ministry, we have certain instructions that we are given, designed for our spiritual development. Make them important to you. Don’t treat them as though they do not matter; God looks at our attitude and response to these instructions: Some of them are highlighted below: -Our monthly communion services - Jesus instructed that we break bread and take the cup in remembrance of Him. It is important to note that each time the communion was mentioned by Jesus or Apostle Paul in the Scriptures, it referred to us taking it together as a Church. Thus, as much as it is important to break bread and take the cup on your own; God prioritizes the one we do as a Church. You too should put this in perspective. Do not stay at home and say you will break bread at home, No! He wants us to come together to do it. (Reference: 1Corinthians 11; Acts 2:42; Acts 2:46, Matthew26:26) -Our times of corporate prayer - As a ministry, we have the PastorChrislive global prayer network, where we join our Man of God to pray on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for 15 mins by 12noon and 10pm. Are you involved? You need to start today. Along with this, we started a 24hrs unbroken chain of prayers in the PastorChrislive prayathon in 2020, where we have groups praying every 15min, of every hour, of every day, of every week and month of the year. You should participate in this as well using the schedule given you by your Church (The Bible study class teacher at this point should please ensure that every participant follows the PastorChrislive handle on kingschat). Along with this, you should also be a vital part of the prayer program in your Church and cell. Prioritize these times of corporate prayer. -Ministry programs: We have different ministry programs scheduled during the year. Make sure you participate as you are guided to do in your Church. Some of these are the Yourloveworld specials with our Man of God; our global prayer days, Healing streams live healing services, special programs for our partners and cell ministry leaders along with other programs organized in your Church. 5.Order your finances- As a Christian you belong to God’s kingdom and you need to realize that there are principles that govern your finances in this new Kingdom. God’s desire is for His kids to always experience an unbroken flow of financial increase. However, God can only be involved in your finances if you let Him, and He has instituted certain ordinances by which this is possible. Your giving to God connects your prosperity to Him. The Bible talks about different kinds of offeringsThe firstfruit offering- This refers to the first and the best of all your increase. For example, your first salary in a new job or business, a promotion at work, or the first salary you receive in the new year. In the ministry, we have set aside a special day for the first fruit service this month. Ensure you participate in your Church. Proverbs 3:9-10 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. When you give God your first fruit offerings as He instructs us to do, you are securing the rest of your finances for the period against losses and other unwanted experiences and launching yourself to higher levels of prosperity. The tithes: This is the tenth part of any money or item of financial value that comes to you. Malachi 3:10- Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts. Freewill offerings- Also called the general offerings. This is what you determine in your heart to give to the Lord. 2 Corinthians 9:7- Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: Other givings include Seed offerings and also Partnership Seeds given through our Ministry Partnership Arms, for the furtherance of our work, reach and impact. Philippians 4:15( AMPC) And you Philippians yourselves well know that in the early days of the Gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church (assembly) entered into partnership with me and opened up [a debit and credit] account in giving and receiving except you only. Philippians 4:17( AMPC) Not that I seek or am eager for [your] gift, but I do seek and am eager for the fruit which increases to your credit [the harvest of blessing that is accumulating to your account]. Note that the tithes and first fruits are not freewill offerings; meaning you don’t give to God just anything you desire to as your first fruit and tithes. Rather it should be done according to the prescribed order in Scripture. Also note that for each of these offerings, there is a blessing and a grace attached, ensuring that you always increase financially and experience no times of lack. 6. Review your involvement in the House of God Prioritize attending Church services and meetings and being involved with activities in Church. Hebrews 10:25- Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Going to Church is not like any other activity such as going to market or to work. It is a divine convocation. The proper way to express and render Christian Service as a Christian is by membership in a local Church. This is how you are an active member of the Universal Church. This is God’s pattern. Also, every member of the Church has a definite role to fulfil. You have to make yourself available for service in God’s House. Be concerned about the growth of your Church and get involved with the evangelical activities in your Church. Ephesians 4:16- But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. 7. Order your heart, thoughts and words. Your life goes in the direction of your thoughts and Words. The Word of God was given to us to help us order our lives in the direction of God’s perfect will. As you spend quality time in studying and meditating on the Word, you are feeding your mind with the right pictures to dwell on and as you get full of these, they will flow through the Words of your mouth. The Bible talks about the principle of renewing your mind- exchanging the old information that your mind got from the world, with new information from the Word of God. The result of this is the transformation of your life. Romans 12:2- And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Proverbs 4:23- Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Ephesians 4:29- Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Let your words be in consonance with the excellent Spirit that is in you; do not be careless with your speech. 8.Watch your associations – Who are those that you are in close association with? Who are those that you get your life inspirations from? If they are not people exemplifying the life of Christ as shown us in Scriptures, then it is time to make a change in this area, because if you tag along with them much longer, they will influence you negatively and eventually take you away from the course that God has planned for you. 1 Corinthians15:33( AMPC) Do not be so deceived and misled! Evil companionships (communion, associations) corrupt and deprave good manners and morals and character. 9. Practice being filled with the Spirit: Eph 5:18 says “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”. The proper rendering is “to be being filled” with the Spirit, meaning that this should be a constant experience. Don’t come out of the over flowing influence of the Spirit! It is a conscious exercise you do. No one can do it for you. And verses 19-21 tell us how to start. Ephesians 5:18-21 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Practise this often and your life will come under the sway of the Spirit at all times and you will become increasingly successful and live a joyful, fulfilling life. CONCLUSION For the rest of this month, review each of the points discussed in this class, along with the Scriptures. Look into every area of your life and make the required adjustments in line with God’s Word. As you take time early in the year to set things in order as we have been instructed to, the rest of the year will be full of promotions, increase and advancement.
