Humanities and Art Appreciation
ACTIVITY 1
How can you utilize the arts to express yourself, your community and your relation to others and
with the environment?
Art has always existed, but we haven’t grasped how to make the most of it and its contribution to
the world. There are many habits that can be used and expressed: first, by taking photos with your
phone in the environment using a creative style of photography, second, by celebrating festivals to show
our relationship with one another and we have their trademarks, and third, by using the strokes of your
hand to create an amazing masterpiece just to express what you feel on the inside.
ACTIVITY 2
Dicuss the difference between imagination and creativity. When do we say man is creative?
Imagination is about seeing the impossible or unreal whereas creativity is using imagination to
unleash the potential of existing ideas in order to create new and valuable one. With imagination, our
focus can be on things that are impossible. Creativity requires our focus to be on things that might be
possible, but we can’t be sure until we explore them further. Creativity is the act of turning new and
imaginative ideas into reality. If you have ideas, but don’t act on them, you are imaginative but not
creative.
