3. Investment Risk: Analyze your risk taking ability


Due to the dynamic characteristic of the stock market, I consider myself as a moderate risk tolerant.
- Moderate Risk Tolerance. Accept some risk to the principal but adopt a balanced approach with intermediate-term
time horizons of five to 10 years. Combining large-company mutual funds with less volatile bonds and riskless
securities, moderate investors often pursue a 50/50 structure. A typical strategy might involve investing half of the
portfolio in a dividend-paying, growth fund.
Possible risk to encounter
- Liquidity Risk – known as „liquidity shortage‟ unable to convert assets into cash or the stocks bought cannot be
bought or sold quickly.
- Speculative Risk – happens when gains has uncertain chance of success especially if there are unpredictable events.
- Pure Risk – uncertain danger that are not controllable.
4. Savings Portfolio

I will invest my money to financial institutions that offers retirement investments, asset management services and mutual
funds, bonds, and stocks diversification to help and guide me in my investment.
- Wealth management incorporates financial planning, investment portfolio management and a number of aggregated
financial services.

5. Investment Options



Stocks – units of ownership in a corporation. To put it simply, when you buy stock from a certain corporation, you
technically “own” part of the company.
Bank Products – these are the common type of investment. You basically deposit a sum of money and it will be held
securely and limits withdrawal. Savings Accounts, Certificates of Deposit (CDs), Money Market, and Federal Insurance
all count as bank products.
Life Investments
 Insurance – a contract, represented by a policy, in which an individual or entity receives financial protection or
reimbursement against losses from an insurance company.
 Retirement Fund – a special fund which people pay money into so that, when they retire from their job, they will
receive money regularly as a pension.
6. Asset Allocation

As a moderate risk tolerant investor, I will invest money to five different investment firms to have a multiple returns
within 7 years in order to meet my financial goals.
