Word, pdf, pdf scans created from photos (I recommend the iPhone free app GeniusScan)
Include your name and NYU ID, there will be an automatic 5 point deduction if either of these
are missing
Make sure all handwriting is legible, if it can’t be read, no points will be awarded
Feel free to work in groups but you are responsible for submitting your own work
o If you do work with other students, list their names at the top of the assignment.
o Review the syllabus and undergraduate bulletin to familiarize yourself with NYU’s

Obtaining data
Part 1
Watch the videos that your classmates made on Flipgrid (https://flipgrid.com/haaf). Choose a variable
that is available for a minimum of 5 students and record the student’s name and the associated variable
value in Excel. Recommendation: watch a handful of videos first to gauge what types of information are
available, select your variable, THEN watch all the videos while recording data.
