I KNEW I’VE LOVED YOU SINCE BEFORE
(Poem of love for my students)
I had fallen in love with you.
I felt it a long time ago.
With the wondering eyes I knew you showed,
On the very first day, It happened, I knew.
You looked at me with much curiosity,
I perceived it in those that were in diversity.
From there, I knew, the connection was on our way
That would blind our ‘mutual understanding’ as they say
You show the care for what I say,
You display it with tour thoughts and stares.
This suddenly stop my world,
As I start to dream for the best for you.
And then I start to feel complete,
With you, I see a future that’s so blessed.
I feel the happiness when you manifest
You’re best that’s beyond that everyone
could ever expect
A glance from you inspires me more
To keep the faith and to be in the move.
My heart dictates to love you more,
And consider you as my own.
I’ve love you, I know, I’ve felt it before,
On that acquaintance, right there in the classroom.
From there, I knew, it continuously grows,
As we go on, I know, it persistently blooms.
