How to make
plant-based meals low-fat?
• Avoid high-fat, vegan meats and cheeses,
coconut, solid chocolate (cocoa powder is
ok!), and oils
• Limit nuts, seeds, avocados, olives – to
about 1 ounce or 2 tablespoons daily
(combined total)
• Avoid high-fat commercial desserts
