poem is indeed a great poem. It is full of emotions, full of love, just by reading those
great and deep verses the author uses in defining his feelings. Also, the poem shows
time and life experiences. Then, it drifts one straight into ideology of eternal love,
where it speaks about being in love with a special someone since forever! Repetitions
and rhymes work like a charm speaking volumes about how much they have fallen
for one another. Eternal love is mentioned. What does it mean? Or how to love like
eternal love? Just simple. If you are in love with someone and it changes your life to
a great enough extent, or if he changes the person you have grown to be, or if this
person adds enough to the canvas that is your life, and you love the result, then you
are left with no choice but to love that person, that is eternal love.
Moreover, the author continues to use the word ‘I’, thus implying to the lovers of the
entire cosmos who experience the same emotions. Rabindranath Tagore’s reference
to the love yarns and the comparison of the lover with a pole star are striking features
of this stanza. It is assumed that it refers to the different phases of our lives, that when
we fall into and out of love, or it could mean how people leave eventually and are left
only with memories.
Lastly, the poem shares unique feature of love that reflects that the love shared is in
fact unending.
However, love is not the same for everyone. We should remember that sometimes
this unending love that you thought will not ceased, can still find its way to end. And
thus, begins the journey of heartbreak. Its never been easy to experience a
heartbreak, it can spin your mind into endless, but it will help you grow. Just strive to
have peace, learn not just to let go, but know how to open yourself up to even deeper
and abiding love.
