Next to the venue are several restaurants and bars; this will be one of the main streets
during the World Games

Accommodation:
ALL lifters, Extra Officials and Officials will stay at the
University Campus from the University of Alabama (UAB)

Lifters will be accommodated for free in double rooms!
Big Cantina for Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Rooms: Double Rooms with 2 big beds connected via a door
with another double room; both rooms will share a
big living room.
For Extra Officials there are two options (single or double
Room)
OPTION 1 – Accreditation + Athletes’ Village Accommodation – Single EUR 180.00 per
person/day
Includes the following:
• Accommodation in a single room at the Athletes’ Village
• Accreditation ID card which allows access to venues, the Athletes’ Village, Opening and
Closing Ceremonies
according to the access levels which are established for the cardholder by IWGA and the BOC
• 3 meals per day at the catering center on the campus of the Athletes’ Village
• Transportation within The Games transportation network (airport, venues, Athletes’
Village, TWG Plaza)
OPTION 2 – Accreditation + Athletes’ Village Accommodation – Double EUR 120.00 per
person/day
Includes the following:
• Accommodation in a double (shared) room at the Athletes’ Village
• Accreditation ID card which allows access to venues, the Athletes’ Village, Opening and
Closing Ceremonies
according to the access levels which are established for the cardholder by IWGA and the BOC
• 3 meals per day at the catering center on the campus of the Athletes’ Village
• Transportation within The Games transportation network (airport, venues, Athletes’
Village, TWG Plaza)
Airport:
The local airport is the Birmingham Airport BMH. This airport can be reached via Chicago,
Atlanta, Denver, Huston, Miami. The local recommends fly in via Huston or Miami.
The airport is not too big and a very “user friendly” one, as well as it is only about 15
minutes’ drive to downtown (Hotel and Venue).

Equipment:
ELEIKO equipment (15 sets). ELEIKO will have again a special branding of the equipment
like in Poland 2017.

The lifters quota is 96 (48 male 48 Female)
The number of Officials is 23 (excl. President and Secretary General)
