SYLLABUS OUTCOMES EN5-2A, EN5-4B, EN5-5C, EN5-6C & EN5-9E SUGGESTED STRATEGIES FOR PREPARATION In preparation for this assessment, you must be completing all homework, class work and formative tasks as set by your teacher throughout the term. You should respond to feedback received and seek additional assistance, either verbal or written, if you require this. The Formative Tasks are designed to hone your essay writing skills. Therefore, the preparation will ONLY be through the formative task process. No further drafts of essays will be marked prior to the Assessment Task. FOUR lessons in total will be allocated between Weeks 6-8 of this term for preparation. In addition, it is important to be aware that the advice/feedback from class teachers on the responses in the leadup to the assessment date are only a guide to the quality of that response. These responses are appraised in isolation – it is only when a response is assessed in the context of the full academic cohort that its true value (i.e. the actual ‘mark’) can be determined. In case of absence: Absences from the assessment period on the day of the task, or on the day before the task that have not been documented though the school’s Illness/Misadventure process will incur a penalty to your final result as per the ‘Year 10 2022 Assessment Schedule and Assessment Related Policies’ handbook. 2 Student’s Name: Teacher: MARKING GUIDELINES MARK Skilfully addresses all aspects of the question.
