Lesson Script Before the lesson starts make sure that you are able to write something down Slide One So we are going to be learning about the organisation of the county Slide 2 - dos and donts Slide 3 - who am I? I am Sergeant Wearmouth, a senior cadet from Sulgrave detachment Durham ACF and has been in the organisation for nearly four years now competing in a number of competitions and courses. I will break this down into two halves. Slide 12 - county organisation 2 - So there is Lt Col Foster at the top, the commandant of the county, and he is responsible for the management of the ACF county as a whole. This entail working close with parts of the ACF ‘family’ such as the army. - If you notice that it splits of into five sections, however, RSM Sayers stickers to the side. The RSM is responsible for - We are going to look at the left part of this. Major Phillips is the CEO, which stands for Cadet Executive Officer. He is responsible for supervising and coordinates the effort of the county staff in planning and the execution of company events. Next down is Captain Ellison a the Quartermaster or QM, which is the county stores. He is also connected to each of the CQMS but that will be shown later in the lesson. This breaks down into two sections, military transport, MT and Lt twist who is the County stores assistant - - - - If we go to the right side of this section there is the OC of CTAT. CTAT stands for the county training advisory team. The OC is Major Thornley, and he is responsible for the training of the whole county, one example would be annual camp. Hw works with a team, which includes the 2IC of CTAT to ensure that all of the proper training is done in each county. There is two further brake off Major Thornley which is the CFATC, which stand for County first aid training officer, which is Lt Hugill, and she deals with all of the first aid training in the county. There is also the county shooting officer which is vacant but they are involved in all the training that includes she shooting aspect. Under the 2IC is the TSM, TSM wardman, which stands training sergeant major, and he is also on the county training team. Slide 13 - Any questions Slide 14 - County Organisation 3 - - So on the left side of the section, there is the PRO and the specialist projects in the county. One example would be on a competition the PRO would take ome photos to be put on social media. In the last two column there is the two dept cmdts, one is Lt Col King and the other is vacant, it used to be Lt Col Scott but he has retired. The Cmdt Dept Cmdt has the same role and as you can see each dept cmdt has two companies to manage.
