Job purpose
Oversees the day-to-day performance of employees and occasionally help perform tasks such as preparing drinks. The
supervisor also provides guidance and identify the needs of their employees.
Duties and responsibilities
List the primary job duties and responsibilities using headings and then give examples of the types of activities under each
heading. Using headings and giving examples of the types of activities to be done allows you to develop a flexible job
description that encourages employee to ‘work outside the box’ and within reason, discourages “that’s not my job”.
Perform various financial activities
 Cash handling
 Handle employees’ payroll
 Present bills and accept payments from customers
Perform personnel actions
 Hiring/Firing staff
 Train employees in drinks preparation
 Creating work schedules
 Observe and evaluate employees
 Assign duties and responsibilities
 Help resolve employee issues and disputes
 Report to Branch Manager at the end of each month
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
 Education – High school graduate or college diploma graduate
 Specialized knowledge – Customer & personal service, administration & management, personnel and human resources
 Skills – Coordination, monitoring, instructing, active listening, time management, social perceptiveness, mathematical
 Language skills – Able to at least speak fluent English and Malay
 Abilities – Selective attention, oral expression & comprehension, problem sensitivity
 Experience – Worked at any food & beverage stores
Working conditions



Needs to work full time (10 a.m. – 6 p.m.) every day of the week except on Sundays
Required to work on other public holidays
Will be working in a TeaLive booth in standalone stores or in shopping malls
