Always make sure that small stock is securely
clamped in a drill press vise.
Do not try to hold small pieces of stock by
hand.
Place the long end of the piece being drilled to
the left side. This is so it will hit the post and
not the operator, should the material slip and
start rotating.

installing a bit. Place
key back in holder

when operating the
