Detailing Stages Stage 1: Pre-rinse Power wash to remove loose dirt. Stage 2: Pre-wash Apply pre-wash products such as bug & grime remover, wheel cleaner & citrus. Stage 3: Snow foam Apply a thick layer & leave it to dwell. Stage 4: Rinse Repeat snow foam again if there are signs of soiling. Stage 5: Wheels Wheel Sponge & Bucket Shampoo in Bucket, Apply wheel cleaner and agitate with brush, leave to dwell, Rinse. Stage 6: Details Apply all-purpose cleaner to door shuts, badges & fuel filler area, agitate with soft brush, Rinse. Stage 7: Two Bucket Wash Method Add Shampoo to wash bucket & mitt, agitate bucket for suds. Wash the car from top to bottom & moving the mitt in straight lines to avoid swirl marks. Rinse the wash mitt in the rinse bucket after washing each panel. Rinse the car once finished to remove the shampoo. Stage 8: Drying Dry the car from panel to panel by either pat drying or dragging the towel. Stage 9: Decon Once the car is dry, apply a tar remover product to the paintwork, leave to dwell for several minutes then wipe with a clean microfiber cloth, recommended to go over with a wash mitt. Apply a fallout remover to the cars lower paintwork and wheels, leave to dwell for several minutes, Rinse thoroughly. Once it’s been rinsed then re-dry the lower section of the car. Apply Clay bar, Leave for a couple seconds to work in. Once the panel is covered then wipe using a microfiber cloth. Stage 10: Polishing Hand / Machine polish, one panel at a time, follow instructions on the bottle for best advice. Remove the polishing residue from the panel using a plush microfiber cloth. Stage 11: Sealant Spray / Place a small amount of sealant on an applicator & sparingly apply to one panel at a time. Allow the product to cure for the time specified on the bottle. Use a plush microfiber cloth to buff the panel to remove the hazed product. Stage 12: Glass Apply the glass cleaner directly to the glass and buff using a dedicated glass cloth. Repeat for the inside. Stage 13: Wax Apply a small amount of wax to an applicator pad. In circular motions, evenly apply the wax to a single panel at a time. Leave the wax to cure for the time specified on the pot. Buff the haze with a plush microfiber cloth. Stage 14: Trim Apply a small amount of trim dressing to an applicator pad and spread evenly onto the trim. Allow the dressing to flash then buff using a clean microfiber cloth. Stage 15: Tyres Apply a tyre dressing to an applicator pad and evenly distribute across the tyre side wall. If needed, Buff to remove any excess dressing. Stage 16: Finishing Apply a quick detailer to the panel and spread evenly using a microfiber. Buff to a high shine finish using a clean microfiber cloth.
