Please use the accessible entrance at 2 East 91st
Street. Restrooms on the Ground Floor are open. The
Tarallucci e Vino Café is temporarily closed.
We have implemented enhanced health and safety
measures for our staff and visitors.
MUSEUM HOURS

E. MCKNIGHT KAUFFER
Opens September 10, 2021
The largest-ever exhibition of works by graphic design
pioneer E. McKnight Kauffer (American, 1890–1954)
will trace the designer’s transformative role in
integrating avant-garde style into modern life. On view
will be some 200 design objects, ranging from riveting
posters to book jackets, as well as abstract designs for
theatrical productions, carpets, film titles, and more.
