Goods Traceability Solution: Overview
According to Russian legislation
https://www.nalog.ru/rn77/related_activities/spt/
It is required to trace several types of imported goods by an RNPT number (a Registration Number of Traceable
Goods).
This number is either derived from the Import Customs Declaration number (during import from non-EACU
countries) or assigned to goods by the Tax office (in other cases). The types of goods that are subject to traceability
are determined by law.
The operator of the traceability system is the Federal Tax Service of Russia.
Who are the participants - all organizations and entrepreneurs in any taxation system that have transactions with
traceable goods. And also all intermediaries: commission agents and agents conducting such operations.
