The Role of Art and Humanities in life
The role of arts and humanities in our lives has given us change on how we perceive
things in the world, it helps us to have a better vision of the past and how the world is changing
through out times. On the other hand, arts and humanities helps us think, make decisions upon
the mistakes committed in the past as well as the great things they have contributed and
accomplished in life. However, in the endless demands in new technology and invention, the
society is starting to pay less attention to arts and humanities. With today’s generation, we were
consumed and influence by the power of technology and without noticing we lack knowledge
about these subjects. Arts and Humanities are the central to all human cultures throughout time,
it has provided us the study to facilitate deeper intercultural understanding and lay the
groundwork for a civically engaged life. They can also prepare you to think critically, act
creatively, and succeed in a rapidly changing world.
