Amendment to Land Based Work-based
Qualification Handbooks
Change to assessment for Level 2 Apprenticeship
and Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship learners new unit numbers for results submission for
independent assessment
The independent assessment examinations for the work-based apprenticeship
and advanced apprenticeship qualifications have now been replaced by
question and answer guides with immediate effect. The qualification
handbooks will be updated shortly but meanwhile the following replaces the
existing information regarding apprenticeship and advanced apprenticeship
assessment.
The unit outcomes covered by the independent assessment questions will
remain the same. The Question and Answer Resource Guide documents are
available on the City & Guilds website under each qualification page
(www.cityandguilds.com). As these documents contain the answers as well as
the questions they are password protected; the passwords are available on
the Walled Garden catalogue under the administration information.
Due to technical reasons we have been required to create new unit numbers
for the submission of the independent assessment results. To keep this
simple we have changed the 500 numbers which were used for the exam
results to 700 numbers for the Question and Answer results.
Centres will be required to provide Lantra SSC with evidence that the
questions have been completed and the assignment has been achieved
before certification takes place.
