Disassembly Instructions
Good plumbers do not waste materials. You will be checked off and graded for how well you
disassemble and put up your materials. Once you are done and your closed plumbing system has
been graded, disassemble your plumbing system using the following guidelines:
● Break apart your materials conservatively, save as much as you can for future use
● Use the ratcheting pipe cutter to cut off CPVC threaded adapters. Throw away the CPVC
threaded adapters and save usable CPVC pipe.
● Use the ratcheting pipe cutter to cut off PEX pipe from the barb adapter and compression
elbow. Save useable PEX pipe
● Unscrew and clean all fittings of thread compound and teflon tape
● Remove PEX pipe from push-fit connection using the Push-fit Removal Tool
● Remove PEX pipe and crimp rings from the compression elbow and barb adapter using the
crimp ring removal tool. Throw away broken crimp rings.
