How to avoid the dreaded “black box”: If you are printing in color, make sure to follow the steps to avoid your color graphics printing as a “black box”. When the black box issue happens with TpT color resources, most of the time it is not the resource that has an issue, it is how it is being printed. Follow these tips: • Do not print off an iPad. • Make sure you are using the most recent version of Adobe Reader (it is free). • Don’t print from the “preview” view. After you have downloaded the resource, open it as a PDF in Adobe and print from there. • When printing select “Advanced” à “Print as Image”. • On a Mac you may have to select the file and hit “command” to force it to open in Adobe Reader. © The Teachers Upstairs, LLC 2021 Wear safety s e l g g o G never smell s l a c i m e Ch report all s t n e d i c c A safely dispose of s d i u Liq keep lab area n a e l C No food or drinks o N unauthorize d experiments never look into a test e b u T stay with your m a e T begin when the r e h c Tea says to tie back loose r i a H put supplies away y l t a Ne h s a W hands before and after lab know where safety equipment is Located Wear safety s e l g g o G never smell s l a c i m Che report all s t n e d i c c A safely dispose of s d i u q i L keep lab area n a e Cl No food or drinks No unauthorized experiments never look into a test e b u T stay with your m a e T begin when the r e h Teac says to tie back loose r i a H put supplies away y l t a Ne h s a W hands before and after lab know where safety equipment is Located
