Must show full middle name if applicable. [ ] Out-of-state Transferrable Registration Must be original. Must be completed and signed by previous owner. [ ] Form FS-20, FS-21, or FS-75 on your mobile device. Please remember to bring:: Bring money for fees. • Fees depend on weight, class and where you live. Estimate your Registration Fee • You can pay by: • Cash. • Credit or debit card (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, VISA). • Check or money order made out to Commissioner of Motor Vehicles. • Based on your responses, you will NOT owe sales tax. Please Note: Your documents must: • Be original. • Have the same name. We will not accept: • Damaged or illegible documents. • Any photo document that you are not clearly recognizable. If you already have NY State license plates that you want to use or transfer to this vehicle: • Bring in your vehicle registration and license plates. • Make sure your insurance company is aware of the transfer.
