Disasters Most Likely To Occur in our Household: Fire Justify: Fire is the calamity that will most likely occur in our household or community because the distance between each house is so close. As a result, once a fire breaks out, it will quickly spread throughout the houses. Aside from the distance, another reason for the rapid spread of fire in our community is the light materials utilized in the construction of the dwellings. IV. Cite at least two (2) Escape Routes from your House (be specific as possible): 1. Main Gate - It is the simplest way out of a fire, as it leads directly to a walkway or an open space with access to the outside. 2. Terrace - Our house is not particularly tall, and using our terrace as an escape route in the event of a fire is also an easy way. It will take us immediately to a walkway or an open area with external access, much like our front door. V. If separated during an emergency, cite two (2) meeting places outside your residence. Consider safety, proximity and familiarity of the place to all the members of the family. You may cite designated evacuation place by your local community officials, but include a more specific location within the vicinity. 1. Main gate of Lumang Bayan Village 2. In front of SM Cherry VI. In the event that the household members are separated and due to some reasons unable to meet in the designated meeting places and unable to communicate with each other, determine an emergency contact person or agency which is NOT a member of your household.
