The Grading System in the Interim Guidelines for assessment and Grading in Light
of the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan enables the teacher to provide
reasonable leniency to learners who are put to a larger disadvantage by the
pandemic, but at the same time does not compromise the integrity and principles
of assessment and grading.
At the end of the session, the participants shall be able to:
Acquaint themselves and discuss on different assessment procedures, grading and
promotion of learners under the new normal situation based on DO No. 31, s.2020
and DO No. 8 s.2015
Design contextualized and integrative assessment appropriate for the learners in
the different learning modalities
Show appreciation on the use of tools and technologies used in assessment
Power Point Presentation, laptop, LCD Projector, stable internet connectivity
Ask: How are learners graded and promoted in this Interim Policy?


