I'd like to start my speech by asking if anyone has ever thought even in the slightest or considered
dropping out of school? I'm sure most people, like myself, will say "Yes." Or no. Today, I'd like to discuss
the significance of staying in school and completing your education. Hopefully, what I have to say will
both inspire and motivate you to want the best for yourself and your future. One of the most important
reasons why it is important to complete education is that it is a requirement in today's society. It
teaches people how to be better citizens, how to get a better-paying job, and how to tell the difference
between good and bad. Education teaches us the value of hard work while also assisting us in growing
and developing. As a result of knowing and respecting our rights, laws, and regulations, we are able to
shape a better society in which to live. I’m about to share a story, not about me, but my mom as child
and her family. It’s a story that my mom tells me whenever I come to her. It’s something like a story
about climbing mountains to get to school. It always inspires me and I hope it will do the same for you.
