Start Date: 4 February 2022 End Date: 18 February 2022 When you listen to music, you might feel tempted to move or tap your feet; rhythm is the element of music that encourages us to want to dance or move our body. For this assignment you will be placed into groups of 4 learners, each learner will be assessed individually, you and your group mates will need to pick one of the animals listed below and compose a dance incorporating the motions of that animal, your movements will show the unique way in which your animal moves. Your dance should not be longer than 1 minute. This activity will expose you to the following: locomotor and non-locomotor activities that will be performed individually as well as in groups. -Using percussion instruments or body percussion, create short rhythmic sequences. -Rhythmic patterns that combine locomotion and sound. -Props are used to create movement expressions.
