Honey is a sweet thick sticky liquid which contains many vitamins and minerals
Did you know that making one pound of honey takes up to 60,000 bees, travelling
55,000 miles, and visiting more than 2 million flowers to gather enough nectar?
How much of honey have you been consuming in a week? Or maybe a month?
Or you do not consume honey at all?

Honey boost your energy naturally.
- We all know that sugar can lead you to a rapid energy crash and that
being the reason why children are always hyper because they eat too
much sweets, drivers often stop and buy sugary drinks to boost up
themselves for a long journey.
- There is glucose in honey which can be absorbed by the body quickly,
giving an immediate energy boost, while the fructose provides
sustained energy since it is absorbed more slowly. Honey has also
been found to keep levels of blood sugar fairly constant in comparison
to other types of sugar.
Relieving cold and cough symptoms
- According to a 2012 study published in the Journal Pediatrics (and my
grandmother), just two teaspoons of honey can help cure a persistent
cough
- Even WHO, World Health Organization recommends honey as a
natural remedy for cold and cough.
- But it is not advisable to give honey to children under age of one year.
Treat Wounds and Burns
- Have you ever heard that if you ever burn you skin, you should

Help to lose weight
- Some people doubt that honey can promotes weight loss because
they know sugary food does not help to lose weight.
- According to study in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition,
honey helps control your appetite and increase your metabolisme.

Way to consume it is by drinking warm water with honey and a splash
of lime first thing in the morning and before you go to bed. It helps
burn more fat during early hours of sleep.
Treat a bad dandruff
- Applying honey diluted with 10 percent warm water to problem areas
and leaving it on for three hours before rinsing, led to itch relief and no
scaling within a week. Skin lesions healed within two weeks and even
showed an improvement in hair loss and also result in silky hair.
Improve heart health
- Honey helped decrease levels of total and “bad” LDL cholesterol while
increasing “good” HDL cholesterol
- It was also able to lower triglyceride levels by up to 19% and
supplementing with honey may reduce systolic blood pressure.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, consuming honey and make it as an alternative from sugar to honey is far
better and way more healthier to us as it is very nutritious and beneficial.
Honey is beneficial in so many ways, help to boost energy, treat a bad dandruff, improve
heart health, help to lose weight in healthy way,can treat your wounds and burns, improve
sleep, and many more. Even in the ancient times, people has been using honey as their food
supplement and medical treatment.
Encourage and convince your family to take honey instead of sugar. Honey can completely
be added in any types of recipe be it foods or drinks. Choose the healthier choice for a
healthier life. A good decisions start with your wise decision.
