With this tool, the TYDOM’s IP address will appear on the network with the name:

Open a web browser and type in the server
administration page as follows: https://<IP_
address>:8443 where <IP_address> is the
server’s IP address on the network.

Note: If you are using “TYDOM HD Finder” to find
the server, you can open the administration page
directly by clicking on the displayed thumbnail.
The default password is “1234”. You will be able to
change the TYDOM 3.0 server’s IP address, run
updates or save the configuration.
Download and install the “Config Studio” and
“Design Studio” onto your Windows or iMac PC.
Check and download the available updates to get
the latest features and upgrades.
Note: do not shut down the server while the
installation is in progress.
Note: The automatic scanning of TYDOM 3.0 servers from the “TYDOM HD Finder” tool,
the “Config Studio” and “Design Studio”, requires
the installation of the “Bonjour” service.
This installation is automatically available as
applicable.

5.2 Changing the password

2.1 Connections
If you press the image and hold it, the panel will
become larger; allowing you to change
the password.
2.1.1 Prerequisites
You will need a computer network
with an Internet connection that includes a router
with activated DHCP function, which is the case
for all ADSL units supplied by Internet service providers.
2.1.2 Connections
1 Connect the power lead
to the power unit.
2 Connect the power unit plug to the server.
3 Connect the power lead to the server’s network socket
(at the back) and to your computer network on the other side.
4 Connect the X3D USB key
5 Connect to a power outlet.

We recommend that you keep TYDOM 3.0 away from any
equipment which could potentially transmit or receive a radio
signal.

6 Remote access
6.1 Used ports

To access the TYDOM 3.0 server remotely, you will need a three-port (TCP) router: 8443, 8090 and
51023. The 8443 port is required for access to the server from an iPhone, iPad (HD version) and Android
phones as remote access. It is also used by “Config Studio” and “Design Studio”. Only “Config Studio”
and “Design Studio” for Windows and Mac use port 51023 for the communication socket receiving status
reports. The iPad Design Studio version uses port 8090 for this communication socket.
Note: To switch off the server, press
once and wait for the
indicator light to go out before disconnecting the power lead.
6.2 Alternative to using default ports
You can however select a different port to each port used by default. You will then have to indicate the applicable port for the application instead of the corresponding port. This is done when you want to connect
using Config Studio or Design Studio (see screenshot opposite).
3 Activation
The applicable syntax with “Config Studio” and “Design Studio” for Windows and Mac is the following:
<adresse_ip>?portws=<port_8443>&portsocket=<port_51023>
Before starting up TYDOM, you must activate your unit (you can anticipate this operation within a maximum
time frame of 48 hours).

6.4 Connecting
Enter the IP address (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx), followed by the access port details, without spaces or any other
character. It is not necessary to indicate the ports if you have routed the default ports, in which case the
server’s IP address or DynDNS is enough.
