about raising awareness on a social issue that has been present in the country for a long time now,
poverty.
With this, we have organized an event named “Solidarity” that would raise awareness about poverty.
This event is organized for the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) and other
barangay-identified individuals who belong to the lower socio-economic status. The said event will
provide an avenue for the participants to learn more and access the following:

We believe that empowering the participants and providing them with opportunities would be a great
help for them. The advocacy of our Solidarity event mainly believes that when people get to know their
skills, energy and abilities and put it in the right place, they can improve their standard of living. They can
rely on themselves to find jobs that suit their abilities. This will open opportunities for them and for others
to utilize their skills and capabilities.
