aspects when it comes to selecting the one for

1. ACCREDITATION & RECOGNITION
Check for official recognition and accreditation. Many
institutions have gained it from the UAE Ministry of
Higher Education and Scientific Research. MOHESR
accreditation is not selected by some institutions but
may be recognized by overseas bodies or
organizations. You should select an institution that
has MOHESR accreditation if you plan to work for the
UAE government.
Private companies in the UAE generally do not look
for MOHESR accreditation but you require ensuring
that your bachelor’s degree is also from a MOHESR
accredited university if you propose to follow a
postgraduate degree at a MOHESR accredited
university.
2. LOCATION/CAMPUS SIZE/FACILITIES
In terms of transport and timings, make sure the location
of the university is appropriate for you. For instance,
several universities are in Knowledge Village and others
in Dubai International Academic City. There are others
scattered around the city. Also, the campus size and
amenities should be checked.
Websites may use words like ‘sophisticated’, ‘vast’,
modern, ‘updated’ etc., and then you will get that the
institution is housed on one floor of a building. So visit
universities and make sure their location and size are as
per your fulfillment and then also look at the type of
facilities they have, such as visiting classrooms, library,
computer labs, etc.
3. TRANSPORT/ACCOMMODATION/VISA
Sometimes you may end up selecting a university that is in another
emirate or far away from where you live. In this case, find out that
the university gives transport if you don’t have your transport or
public transport is not an alternative for you. Many universities
have buses that are serving in specific areas. Ask about
accommodation amenities, if you are from another emirate or
another country.
Ask about it, even if the university doesn’t have its hostel. An
important question would be about visas. A student visa is
processed by most of the universities in the UAE. Again, in getting
a student visa, inquire about documentation, cost, and time
involved.

Certain things should be considered at the time of selecting a
university in Ajman such as location and size of the campus, facilities
provided by it, accommodation such as transport, visa, etc provided
