class during the fourth to the eigth
week of the semester.

students full time status and
progress toward graduation.

Loans).
WN - NEVER ATTENDED
WITHDRAWAL
POSSIBLE CONSEQUENCES OF CLASS WITHDRAWAL
FAILING GRADES
LOSS OF FUTURE AID
An unofficial withdrawal will
automatically convert to an "F".
Failing grades can impact your SAP
Status- your GPA, progress toward
graduation and eligibility for future
financial aid.
If you officially or unofficially
withdraw (WU/WN) from too
many classes in one semester it
can affect your SAP status and
cause you to have to repay aid
that was received and or lose
eligibility for future semesters.
LESS FINANCIAL AID
Official or Unofficial Withdrawals
can affect the amount of Financial
Aid you get if you drop from fulltime to part-time status.
Depending on the date of
withdrawal, the amount charged
may remain the same, but the
Financial Aid award might be
diminished.
NO FINANCIAL AID
If you Withdraw from too many
classes, you may lose your fulltime status (12+ credits towards
your major per semester), causing
you to lose financial aid eligibility.
ENROLLMENT
If you owe money to the college
because of official or unofficial
withdrawals you will not be able to
register for future semesters
TIPS
You will maintain financial aid
eligibility as long as you
maintain full-time status.
If you withdraw on or after the
R2T460% date as designated on
Your academic calendar you will
maintain full-financial aid
eligibility but it can impact your
progress toward graduation
Always attend all classes that
you registered for during the
first 3 weeks or officially drop
classes during the add/drop
period.
If you received a WN but later
attended class, discuss with
your professor submission of an
appeal form to reinstate you
before the end of the semester
Check FACTS to ensure your
classes are TAP Eligible during
registration period
