Summary: A 4-ton heat pump is a good choice for this project. Two stage or variable capacity
compressors will provide better low temperature operation in the winter and are
recommended. The software indicates the ideal equipment would be able to satisfy demand to
24°F in heat pump mode. This should be verified with actual equipment under consideration.
