All Summer in a Day takes place in a school on the planet Venus. The future has arrived. It has rained every day
for the past seven years due to the weather conditions. The sun comes out for two hours after that. The children
are pale, have poor tempers, and are harsh due to the societal circumstances. Bullies and jealousy pervade the
atmosphere.
