 Paano mareceive ning best gift?
3 key points:
 RECOGNIZE THE GIFT
+ Admit that we are a sinner and we need a Savior
= when we receive this gift,
-we identify the gift, KNOW JESUS PERSONALLY
-and recognize that we are sinner and we ask
forgiveness for our sins,
we don’t deserve to receive that gift but yet gihatag
giyapon ni Lord
+when we receive JESUS, we also welcome Him to our life
 GET OPEN TO RECEIVE
+ open your heart to JESUS
+ surrender everything to HIM, all your worries
lahat ng nagpapabigat sa puso mo
+ PUNO NA BASO for example
+ not all battles are for you to fight
+ibigay mo yan kay Lord, and surely panalo ka na kasi YOU
HAVE A VICTORIOUS GOD
But Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still
and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Lord himself will
fight for you. Just stay calm.
Exodus 14:13a-14b
What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If
God is for us, who can ever be against us?
Romans 8:31
 BE A GRATEFUL RECEIVER
= the moment we receive a gift, unsa dayon akong
ginabuhat? comment
+ show HIM your appreciation by obeying to HIM
+ Thanking Him every day for HIS goodness
+when we are being grateful, we also respect HIM
+ be humble and recognize that all things you have is from
HIM and not from your ability
+ diba kung mapasalamaton ta, malipayon man gyud ta
noh
And when we are in great joy for what we receive we
share it to others
+ when we receive HIM, we also share HIM to others so
they can also receive this BEST GIFT
+ ang mga Angels gani noh they are in great joy na nag adto
gyud sila sa mga shepherds to tell them na niabot na ang ilang
gina hulat, si Jesus
+ kita gani diba malipay man gyud nap ag niabot na atong
ginahulat na gift, sila pud.
The Shepherds and Angels
8
That night there were shepherds staying in the fields
nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. 9 Suddenly, an angel
of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the
Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, 10 but
the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I
bring you good news that will bring great joy to all
people. 11 The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has
been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! 12 And
you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby
wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.”
13
Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—
the armies of heaven—praising God and saying,
14
“Glory to God in highest heaven,
and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”
15
When the angels had returned to heaven, the shepherds
said to each other, “Let’s go to Bethlehem! Let’s see this
thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us
about.”
Luke 2:8-15
Inconclusion:
Paano kung hindi ibigay ni mama or papa ang gift na
iniexpect nyo?
Or
Walay gana mag celebrate ug pasko kay walay kwarta
Jesus is what matters on CHRISTMAS
It is not about the tangible gifts
It is not about the money or
kung unsa kadaghan inyong handa
remember, Jesus was born in a manager
(pagkaonan sa mga animals sa stable)
Pwedi man noh na sa kingdom sya ipanganak, or inn
Nganong sa stable man?
Because JESUS is for all of us, rich or poor
Wala naga matter kay Jesus, ang kadaghanon sainyong
kwarta or gifts
HE just wants us to celebrate with HIM
Our Best Gift, JESUS is all that matters
