Baldoza (09461657481) RATIONALE: The Department of Education and the Naga Thrives ensure to have a full effective implementation of DepEd Order No 12, series of 2020, also known as the Adoption of the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan considering the COVID 19 Public Health Emergency. The adoption of this BE-LCP has been designed to respond to the needs of the pupils and teachers in the “New Normal” which means equal access to the education. This BE-LCP provides the students a framework and foundation on the continuous learning development to obtain quality, relevant and accessible basic education through the use of different Distance Learning Delivery Modalities such as Online Distance Learning (ODL), Blended Distance Learning (BDL), TV and Radio-Based Distance Learning and Online Distance Learning (ODL) III. OBJECTIVES: At the end of this activity, teachers are expected: 1. To enhance their knowledge, skills, and attitude towards the online distance learning modality. 2. To apply new concepts and skills acquired in the training; and 3. To conduct a simulation on the online distance delivery modality. IV. METHODOLOGIES AND PROCEDURE This 1-day activity is a seminar-workshop that will enhance the teachers’ knowledge on the use of online platform in connection to the online class delivery learning modality. The faculty members of Naga Central School I will be attending this capacity building online or virtual via Google Meet moderated by the committees. The morning session will be allocated to discussion on the use of online platform and the afternoon will be for the simulation of the online class to be attended by the teacher as participants and by the selected students.
