The Satcube+ Ka is probably the world’s most compact
portable terminal for broadband connectivity in remote
locations. The laptop-sized terminal provides reliable,
high-performance satellite communications capabilities
virtually anywhere in the world. This specialist user terminal is ideally suited to top-level logistics, first responders,
government agencies, energy, mining and offshore applications in harsh environments.
Deploy the Satcube+ Ka for live satellite transmission in
less than one minute using our unique point and shoot
system. No assembly required: deploy and stow is just click,
fold and go. The unit is a single piece. It has a flat antenna
design with an integrated transceiver, modem, software
and navigation system.
Use your laptop browser or a LED display to set parameters
and monitor the system. The intuitive GUI is easy to follow
during the manual pointing procedure. The operator needs
a minimum of training and no expertise to operate the
system, and can therefor concentrate on the task at hand.
One piece of carry on luggage. The Satcube+ Ka is scarcely
bigger than a standard laptop and is compatible with the
IATA weight and size limits. It weighs only 6.8 kg (15 lbs), so
one person can carry it easily. The terminal runs either on
Battery, 24VDC,or on a wide range of both AC and DC inputs
via a stand-alone power supply unit.
The Satcube+ Ka has a tough carbon fiber and aluminum
structure with rubber damped corners.
