STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE:
Store in a temperate, low humidity, pest free environment at temperatures of <90 ºF. Improperly stored malts are prone to loss of freshness,
flavor, and the possible appearance of Grain Weevil Bugs. Sealed whole kernel diastatic and pre-ground malts are best when used within 6
months from date of manufacture. Whole kernel roasted malts may begin experiencing a slight flavor loss after 12 months.
RETURN & EXCHANGES
We understand that most ingredients need to be opened and/or used before you know there is an issue. If you find your malt is not as fresh as
guaranteed upon opening, kindly contact us as soon as possible for a replacement. If a replacement is desired we will ship the replacement
immediately with no extra charge.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY AND WARRANTY
Products may be returned and replaced within 30 days of purchase. Santiago Malthouse will not be held liable with any off-flavours from any
products or beverages made with our malts.
MALTING SCHEDULES
Our Malthouse makes Malt in weekly batches starting Monday of every week.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
All Base Malts are tested using a homebrew setup with an average 65-70% efficiency rate. Final mashing efficiency is dependent on Brewer’s
Equipment. We recommend Step Mashing when mashing with our Base Malts. The data listed under typical analysis are subject to the
analytical deviations. Product information are not derived from laboratory tests. They represent average values, not to be considered as
guarantees, expressed or implied, nor as a condition of sale. The product information contained herein is correct, to the best of our knowledge.
