Delta Battery safely conducts a M4 Zero Range on 05OCT21 on Range 50
IOT have all shooters zero their weapons.
Commander’s Intent:
Identified Delta Battery personnel zero on their respective weapon system IOT
have all shooters zero their weapons in preparation for the M4 Carbine
Qualification Range on 12OCT21.
Concept of the Operation:
Phase I: Planning & Preparation (31AUG21 – 04OCT21)
CONOP 29SEP21, fill in tasking matrix, secure needed resources for the
range, issue PMI guidance, load radios into vehicles, dispatch vehicles NLT
04OCT21.
Phase II: Execution (05OCT21)
0500 - First Formation Detail PCC/PCI/ PMCS vehicles
0600 - SP to Range 50
0615 - 0730 - Range Preparation
0700 - 0730 - Range Brief (PCC/PCI)
0730 - 0800 - Range goes Hot
0800 - 1700 - M4 Zero
1700 - Range goes Cold
1700 - UTC - Range Closeout
Phase III: Recovery & AAR (06OCT21)
Upon completion of the range on 05OCT21, personnel will conduct recovery
operations and complete an AAR NLT COB 06OCT21.
Key Tasks
1. All required personnel zero on their assigned weapon.
2. COVID preparedness and mitigation of risk.
3.All requested Ammunition properly picked up, stored and transported to and
from Range.
4. All vehicles staged and dispatched by 04OCT21.
5. Unit PMI MFR’s verified at retrain location (CP2).

D/3-4 ADAR safely conducted a M4 Zero range with 100% of identified D BTRY
personnel zeroed on their assigned weapon, prepared to fire at the BTRY M4
Qualification range.
