NOTE 1: OBSOLETE
NOTE 2: "UK PPL" includes Pre-JAR UK PPL(A) as well as current UK PPLs issued by the CAA
NOTE 3: Where an hour with instructor is identified, a Pass in a Proficiency Check - or other check e.g. for IR(R) - of any duration is an acceptable alternative.
NOTE 4: Even if Microlight Differences Training has been completed
NOTE 5: If SLMG Class Rating is held then motorglider hours can also be cross-counted for SEP Revalidation. (If SSEA Rating rather than SEP Rating is held, see Note 6).
NOTE 6: If appropriate (Microlight/SLMG/SSEA) Class Rating is held AND at least 1 hour on each Class of aircraft for which Rating is held. (Can be P1 or PUT)
NOTE 7: "Examiner" also includes any approved instructor with "FCL.945" included in Instructors Remarks and Restrictions (Section XII) of his/her licence
NOTE 8: If a UK PPL is held and microlight differences training completed, 3-axis microlight hours may be credited for SEP Experience. Care is needed if both UK PPL and EASA PPL are held.
NOTE 9: If no change elected by pilot, some pre-2008 Microlight & SLMG Class Ratings may be revalidated by 5 hours in preceding 13 months plus Cert. of Exp. (General Exemption E 4544)
