Aug 26 Written narration prompt Written narration prompt Anatomy focus: Stomach and intestines Physics: Lever Welcome to the first month of "Screen Free Science!" Each month there will be a weekly checklist of reading assignments and written narrations. This month will be our first meeting but I would love to have students complete two reading assignments before we gather for our first in person class. In your portfolio you will have the current meal plan and exercise routine that will be taught on August 26. Our science lab topics will also be assigned and you can use these prompts to ask students about what they learned during their lab time. You can also view the yearly calendar in this portfolio. At each meeting students will recieve the next month's reading assignments. If you are unable to make any meeting please arrange a time to pick up the assignments from my home in Spring Hill! Each meal plan will be sampled but we will omit some ingredients in case of allergies and/or spices! There won't be enough for a full serving so I do suggest that each month the students bring their own nut free lunch/snack. When we meet for class on September 30 I would like to hear how students incorporated warm ups, exercise, and stretching during their daily activities! Keeping our body healthy and strong by developing positive habits is an important lesson (one that I am still learning at 42 years old!) I would love to have students share any tips and success stories that can encourage the rest of us! You can make it as simple as creating drawings on a poster board, or bring elements to share a science experiment with an audience!
