• Prevalence : 10 % of population
• Pathoanatomical feature
inflammation of plantar fascia (enthesis)
of central band of plantar aponeurosis and
medial plantar tubercle of calcareous

• Risk factors
- Ankle DF limitation and tightness gastrocnemius → early heel lift
- Prolong standing and walking
- BMI > 30
• Common caused by repetitive force such as long distance running,
jumping

- Excessive rear foot pronation
