Crohn’s Disease, I Require & Deserve to Ask for Financial Help!
Co-Vid affected my life the following ways 1.Currently on ODSP ONLY, for the past 3 years, I take extensive IV medications that are immunosuppressants, therefore,Dr order immediately to stay home unless of emergency.
2.I then had to pay an assistant (friend or whom ever was willing) to do ALL public errands, groceries, medication pickups, wound care supplies, etc.
3. This included paying for their gas money or cab fare. Which is my responsibility to pay! 4.I used to do lots of art requests (NOT AS A BUSINESS)! Only excepting donations for art supplies (this ended at the start of COVID
5.I also did nannying for 3,different families which stopped immediately as well. I didn’t ask apply for CERB until Sept 11, 20. I wanted to do everything I could without government assistance. I can’t anymore. I was immediately approved on the 11th , revealing the same information above. I received $2000 on Sept 14, 2020 as was reassured by the representative on the phone! She also told me about retro payments since I clearly had everything required to receive this wonderful assistance. She told me to call back on Monday when I received the payment, as I felt reluctant to ask for retro payment even though I clearly DO QUALITY (UNLIKE OTHER DISGRACEFUL PEOPLE in my community who don’t even know, despite comprehend, what it’s truly like to be dying of a chronic disease such as myself! )
◦I’m verbally requesting my retro payments, I’ve never felt so lucky to live in a place that can provide financial assistance like this. I worked very hard as a nurse for over a decade until I became to sick.
