What causes people to immigrate to the United States.
For most people, to immigrate is a whole challenge, in my opinion I agree with them. It is a tough decision
to make, besides it gets even more complicated if you have kids. There are many causes about why people
need to immigrate and why to the United States.
Many factors cause people to escape from their countries. Most of them from regions like Africa or South
and Central America. In this case, the last ones choose to immigrate to United States because is the
nearest developed country in the region. Since the corruption exists in these countries, every time there
are less money in people’s pockets and more inflation. Thus, they decide to come to one these potential
countries because they expect to have greener pastures
Therefore, expensive cost of life and cheapy salaries causes that families are not able to reach the end of
the month. Another cause is the criminal rate, for example, a higher delinquency and drugs trade in the
streets also make parents think about how is going to be the future of the country or the environment for
their kids. As a result of the lower incomes and the insecurity in the streets people develop the necessity
to “change air” and to immigrate to another country.
In conclusion, in my personal experience, it has been hard to change my culture, language, not to see my
friends anymore or my parents, but the advantages that you can get here in US are astonishing. The
sacrifice is not worthless.
