PERIODIC PLATES
Directions: Using the symbols from the Periodic Table of the Elements, create a personalized license plate of a
word or phrase. Sketch out the word or phrase in the space below before starting on a poster.
Guidelines:
1. You must use a minimum of 3 element symbols to create your tag.
2. Be sure to include atomic number, chemical symbol, and element name for each element.
3. Make sure you follow the chemical symbol rules!!!! (First letter capital, second letter lowercase)
4. Choose at least one of the elements you chose and draw an atom of that element.
 Make sure you label all parts: protons, neutrons, electrons, nucleus
 Also make sure you write the name of the element you draw!!!
5. Use color and make your poster beautiful! Use the rubric below to help you.
