Think back to your younger years. Write about a game you
used to play or an activity you used to do that you
thoroughly enjoyed. In the story “ The Chase,” Annie Dillard
writes about a snowball fight she completely threw herself
into in her childhood. In “Go Deep to the Sewer,” Bill Cosby
describes a game he played in his childhood. Try to think of
something similar that you really got into and enjoyed.
Describe the activity, tell where you played, how you
played, who you played with. Explain why it was so much
fun for you.
Write at least 2 or 3 paragraphs. Include reflection (why
this activity was meaningful to you) and description.
