Curriculum Vitae
Yung-How Wu is a Senior Researcher of Materials Research Laboratories/ITRI that
he joined in 1982. He majored in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering and received
his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Chiao Tung University,
Taiwan in 1998 and has been involved in the field of NDT(AET, UT, ET, RT, MT, IRT)
for over 30 years. During these times, he passed ASNT Level III of UT, ET, RT, MT,
EPRI Level II of IGSCC detection and sizing in EPRI and advanced TOFD training in
AEAT. Mr. Wu has been leading R&D of various NDT techniques for both
governmental and commercial applications in utilities, refineries, transportation, steel
and electronic industries. Mr. Wu will continue to further NDT automation mainly
with TOFD, ACFM and Phase Array techniques and offer various NDE services for
industries. Lately, Mr. Wu has also involved in the development of energy saving
techniques and materials for buildings and as well NDE techniques for fuel cell, wind
turbine, rail and tyre.
